I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to serve as the newest full-time counselor at Donelson Elementary! While it’s my first year being full-time as a Bulldog, I spent the last two years as the Itinerant Counselor where I split my days between both AES and DES. Prior to becoming a School Counselor, I worked at Youth Villages as a Behavioral Youth Counselor Supervisor. I absolutely adore the elementary age group, and can’t get enough of the constant hugs and laughter that fill our hallways. As your School Counselor, my goal is to ensure that your children find success in their academic, social-emotional well-being, and career exploration. This is going to be an amazing year, and as always…Go Bulldogs!

I'm entering my fourth year as a Bulldog! Time flies when you're having fun! I graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. and the University of Memphis with an M.S and, prior to joining the team at ACS, I spent my time as a professional school counselor in Shelby County Schools. I've had a vast array of experiences working with a variety of students from a myriad of backgrounds. My favorite thing about being at DES is the willingness to help that we all share. As your school counselor, you can count on me to support you academically, socially and emotionally. I'll even throw in a dash of career exploration, just for fun. This year will be our best one YET!
