At Arlington Community Schools

Students will engage with relevant information resources and digital learning opportunities in a culture of reading. School librarians initiate and elevate motivational reading initiatives by using story and personal narrative to engage learners. School librarians curate current digital and print materials and technology to provide access to high-quality reading materials that encourage learners, educators, and families to become lifelong learners and readers.

ACS utilizes Follett Destiny® Library to keep a thorough, real-time track of our library's inventory and media assets while giving students and families a fun means of discovery and reading. Use the links below to access the library catalogs for each of our four schools.

Each school also uses Sora to allow students to read eBooks and audiobooks from our digital collections. Sora may be accessed through your student's Classlink account (Note: you will need a student password to sign in to view Sora).

Consideration Requests

For any reconsideration requests, please consult with the local school librarian and principal before filing a formal request for reconsideration of Library Collections Materials. Please note that consideration requests are only for currently enrolled Arlington students, parents/guardians of currently enrolled Arlington students or currently employed Arlington teachers/staff.  Consideration feedback from any other party will not be considered or reviewed.
