For the second year in a row, both Arlington & Donelson Elementary Schools have been named Reward Schools by the state of Tennessee.
The Reward status is the highest distinction a school can earn in the state and is given to those who exemplify student success in achievement and growth. Since 2013, each school has been named a Reward School four times.
“It’s encouraging to see Arlington and Donelson Elementary Schools continue this level of achievement and success,” said Superintendent Tammy Mason. “We must capture students at a young age to cultivate them into life-long learners, and our elementary schools are consistently doing that year after year. Congratulations to our students, teachers
and staff for another great accomplishment!”
As a district, ACS was named Advancing, the second-highest achievement statewide, for meeting growth expectations.
