ARLINGTON, Tenn. (Arlington Community Schools) – Today, the Tennessee Department of Education released high school graduation rates, and the numbers show Arlington High School continues to climb.

AHS’ graduation rate for the 2017-2018 school year was 97.20 percent, a 0.41 increase over the previous year. Since 2013, the graduation rate for the district has climbed more than 3-percentage points.

“Our teachers and staff are working tremendously hard to make sure our students are graduating on time and prepared for college and career,” said Superintendent Tammy Mason. “I’m particularly proud of how our teachers are meeting every student at his or her level, and I believe that’s why ACS’ rate increases year after year.”
