Conner Hall named February's Patriot Bank Student of the Month

Congratulations to Conner Hall for being named the Patriot Bank Student of the Month for February! Conner was selected by the Arlington High School Fine Arts Department for exemplifying the tenants of the Portrait of an ACS Graduate, which include Communicate Effectively, Collaborate Intentionally, Cultivate Creativity, Be Resilient and Lead with Empathy. Here's what the selection committee had to say about Conner:

"Conner was voted “Most Artistic” in his Senior class and is President of the National Art Honor Society. Conner is taking AP Studio Art for the second year. He scored a perfect score on his AP Art Portfolio his junior year and is on track for another perfect score this year. This year, Conner won a total of 19 Scholastic Awards, more than any student in our region, as well as art awards from competitions such as the TAEA State Competition, Betacon, Delta Fair, TN State Christmas Tree Ornament Project and the Memphis International Airport Art Contest. Conner is a great leader and communicator, serving as project manager for the NAHS mural project for two years. Conner motivates and leads the group with great success and is always willing to lend a hand to his fellow students. Conner has definitely left his mark on AHS in many great ways."

The Patriot Bank Student of the Month program will recognize one student in the months of September - April. One of those eight students will then be selected for a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Patriot Bank.
