Congratulations to Jordan Batts for being named the Patriot Bank Student of the Month for April! Jordan was selected by the Wellness Department for exemplifying the tenants of the Portrait of an ACS Graduate, which include Communicate Effectively, Collaborate Intentionally, Cultivate Creativity, Be Resilient and Lead with Empathy. Here's what the selection committee had to say about Jordan:

Jordan Batts is the definition of being The Portrait of an ACS Graduate. Jordan goes above and beyond on a daily basis to exhibit these traits, but especially to collaborate intentionally with peers, teachers, and stakeholders in the Arlington community. Jordan was a two-year starter and team captain on the AHS football team. Jordan received a scholarship to play football at Lincoln University. He is also the President of DECA at AHS. Jordan realizes his own strengths but loves to celebrate the strengths of others. Jordan possesses a diverse network that allows him to collaborate in relationships intentionally. As for the Wellness Department, we are extremely proud of what Jordan has accomplished, but the best is yet to come! Congrats, Jordan Batts.

The Patriot Bank Student of the Month program recognizes one student in the months of September - April. One of those eight students will then be selected for a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Patriot Bank.
