Sydney Wickens, Best in Show Senior Divison
Arlington High School art students made a great showing at this year’s Scholastic Art and Writing Awards contest, bringing home “Best in Show” in the Senior Division and 132 total awards. Gold Key recipients will have their artwork displayed in a student show at the Memphis Brooks Museum beginning January 20th through February 19th. An awards ceremony will also be held in February to honor all of this year's winners.
Overall, AHS brought home 132 total awards, Best in Show Senior Division (Sydney Wickens), 20 Gold Keys, 33 Silver Keys and 79 Honorable Mentions. Senior Portfolios from various Class of 2023 seniors also snagged one Gold Key, two Silver Keys and four Honorable Mentions.
