Jordan Mai named March's Patriot Bank Student of the Month

Jordan Mai Headshot

Congratulations to Jordan Mai for being named the Patriot Bank Student of the Month for March! Jordan was selected by the Arlington High School Career & Technical Education (CTE) Department for exemplifying the tenants of the Portrait of an ACS Graduate, which include Communicate Effectively, Collaborate Intentionally, Cultivate Creativity, Be Resilient and Lead with Empathy. Here's what the selection committee and JROTC Instructor Colonel Block had to say about Jordan:

"Jordan not only exemplifies each of the components of The Portrait of an ACS Graduate, he has more than met the expectations of what this retired Army Colonel set for him at the beginning of the spring semester. If there were a Patriot Bank Student of the Year, Jordan Mai would definitely be my first recommendation.  He has been accepted on a full scholarship to Norwich University starting in the fall of 2023.  He maintains a 4.86 weighted Cumulative GPA while maintaining two part-time jobs and is actively involved in National Honor Society, Robotics Team and JROTC Color Guard and Drill Team.  Jordan competed on the Tiger Cross Country Team during his Freshman and Sophomore years.  As the Senior Army Instructor, I am so very proud of his accomplishments and look forward to what he will do in the future.  Jordan is my “Must Select” for the Patriot Bank Student of the Month."

The Patriot Bank Student of the Month program will recognize one student in the months of September - April. One of those eight students will then be selected for a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Patriot Bank.
